to you some years ago, when I lived in Birmingham, I sent you a rather
excessively large file of the family crest. I've since moved to
Northampton now, however I've been doing some history into the Pagett
surname and other spellings if your interest I can share my theories
with you. Looking at The Midlands Branch it seems we may all stem
from being under Sir William Paget of Beaudesert, who owned most of
Staffordshire, West Warwickshire and Tamworth regions. He served time in
the tower, and his grandson also William Paget founded Bermuda, in fact
the capitals called Paget, how weird!! |

dad's father's dad was from Padgett's Corner in Clinton, Maryland. I do
know at some point the Padgett's left England to come to America. Thus
far, I have not been able to make the connection from the USA to

through and through. I live in Brignorth, my father grew up in Bewdley,
are we related in any way? my father is Arthur and so is his father. its
funny that up I have a carpet cleaning company, my father ( also A.P)
manufactured carpet for over thirty years. his factory was called globe
and was in Halesowen. anyway, if you have any clues to the origin of my
