This is a one hundred times
magnification of a a "Artemia Salinia", a close relative of the
Brine Shrimp, or better known to you and I as Sea-Monkeys.
They 'breath' through there feet, and they are born with one central eye which they eventually shed when there two normal eyes grow ! |
| There was a major craze in the 1970's
with Sea-Monkeys, I got caught up in it as a boy but I do not remember any
success with them. Yet this time around there are at least 30 of
them swimming around.
Of course it is these boyhood memories that drew me into buying the current batch. |

Starting off is very simple, I boiled some tap water and left it overnight, then I added packet 1 (Water Purifier) and left that 24 hours. Then add packet 2 (Instant Life) and Stir. Life was not instant, maybe a couple of hours I guess. |

I have found several web sites which provide Sea Monkey resources and information. I even found a site where you can purchase Sea Monkeys on line.
