Sinclair ZX Spectrum What the Spectrum lacked in Features, it made up for with a mass of Great, playable games like Manic Miner and Saber Wolf. It was easy to program and affordable.
Atari ST With the Atari ST came better graphics, sound and speed. With a built in floppy drive and MIDI compatibility, the ST became a serious musicians tool as well.
SNES Consoles have come a long way, and the Super Nintendo was the market leader in its day. The games were excellent and pushed the technology to it's limit.
Nintendo 64 With great graphics and sound, the N64 is a fantastic console however the Sony Playstation has the bulk of the market. There are some great games out there though, but you will need a very fast computer to emulate them.	David Pagett ©2000
